Sarah Chace, originally from Cortland, New York, discovered her passion for the culinary arts at a very early age. She was always drawn to the idea of connecting with people and letting her creativity shine when it came to baking. In 2018, Sarah graduated from SUNY Delhi in New York, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts Management. Sarah contributes her passion for the culinary world to two significant projects in her career: the Kevin Zraly dinner she assisted with in college where she curated desserts to complement each specialty wine tasting for 200 guests, and one of her proudest moments, the creation of a gingerbread snow globe display which featured 20 unique gingerbread houses encased in glass globes. Since their creation, these globes continue to adorn the restaurant’s entrance every holiday season. Today, Sarah serves as a Pastry Chef at Cru Catering and works alongside the pastry team to create special desserts for everything from events to weddings, and even Cru Café, the sister-restaurant of Cru Catering. Sarah’s management style is described as organized and driven by a desire to help others learn and grow. When not in the kitchen, you can find Sarah spending time with her beloved 6-year-old cat Nala, or exploring new places and restaurants.
