When it comes to the honeymoon no two couples are alike. We have some couples who are more excited about their honeymoon than the actual wedding day. Then we have those who are too consumed, stressed and busy planning their wedding that they opt to push the honeymoon planning, or the whole thing altogether, to the side.

Do you like the best of both worlds? Want a little adventure mixed with your R&R? Resorts world-wide are finally understanding this need. Even if you are just jetting down to the Bahamas most resorts are now including excursion options (as a cruise does).  Make sure to ask what your options are for booking specials and early registration deals.

Much like the fad of ‘staycations’ couples are exploring the idea of getting local for their honeymoon. Many Charleston couples are opting to explore more of the Carolinas for their honeymoon with choices like Asheville, Hilton Head, Kiawah Island, Myrtle Beach,  Boone, Blowing Rock, Edisto Island, Bald Head Island and more who needs to leave?! Similarly, a lot of our destination couples (who travel to Charleston to get married) continue their stay in the city with the family for their Honeymoon.
