“John and his team tackled a cocktail hour and three-course seated dinner for nearly 250 guests at my wedding and nailed it. He totally customized a menu for us based on what we liked, what was in season and what he could source locally, which was very important to us. Our dinner menu included a Field Greens Salad with goat cheese and local veggies, Butternut Squash Soup, and Fruits de Mer risotto, which John and his crew executed seamlessly. Not only was the entire dinner beautiful, but everything was so delicious. I still have guests that talk about the food at my wedding, and we are celebrating our 3rd anniversary this year! My husband and I currently live in Pittsburgh, Pa. Planning a wedding from far away was not easy and we read reviews frequently in order to help us make decisions on which vendors to use.That being said, this place is seriously the way to go!!! We had Cru cater our rehearsal dinner which we held at our rental beach home at the Wild Dunes. I worked with Reilly throughout the entire process and I honestly cannot say enough about her. She was awesome and definitely one of my favorite vendors to work with. Our guests are still raving about the food!! We had several different stations available to our guests and the mac and cheese station was a HUGE hit. The presentation of the food was also incredible and something I was not even expecting. And the staff! They were awesome as well. I honestly cannot say enough about them.

Cru Catering is hands down the BEST caterer in Charleston. We used Reilly Mariotti and her team for our wedding on May 20, 2017. My husband picked out all the food for our cocktail hour and reception and we couldn’t get any of our guests to say anything other than it was some of the best food they have ever eaten. Guests raised in the south said their shrimp and grits were the best grits they have ever tried. Multiple guests said the oyster shooters were the best they ever had……many guests had 5-6 EACH (probably why we ran out!) We served Charleston She Crab soup as our first course and every guest I talked to raved about it. Reilly was a delight to work with and was very confident in what she was doing. She communicated to us well and was very professional, especially in the days leading up to our big day when several last minutes decisions had to be made. The service during our reception was unparalleled. Service was prompt, servers were very professional dressed and mannered, and the flow of dinner was very fluid. You can not do better than Cru Catering!

I wanted to let the Cru staff and management what a wonderful day we had.  Surprising my husband, Andy is a difficult task and making him happy is even harder.  He was so happy at the party. His sister said she had never seem him beam so much at something that was just for him.  Cru made us feel as if we were guests and not hosts.  Comments we heard were; the food is unbelievable, best catered affair I have been to, the most unobtrusive staff we have seen, etc.  I know friends and neighbors took business cards and I am placing a Cru card at our community mailbox area.
