Cru Catering Beverage Director, Dave Coe, was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and moved to Charleston to attend Johnson and Wales University in the Culinary Arts Program.

Coe assisted in the opening of the first Sticky Fingers Restaurant in 1992. His hard work allowed him to prosper into the first Operating Partner of Sticky Fingers, and he later moved on to become the Head of Operations. Coe left Sticky Fingers in 2004 and worked as Bar Manager for Snyder Party Rental until 2009. In 2009, Dave began working at Fuel Cantina as Bar Manager. He then took his talents to Cru Catering and became the Beverage Director.

Coe’s management style is simple; He believes communication is key, to approach situations humbly, and to include everyone in the decision-making process. When it comes to food and drink, it’s impossible for Coe to pick out just one as his favorite, but his weakness is the Cru Catering Peanut Butter High Hat dessert.

Coe lives on James Island with his wife Kelly and their spoiled rotten chocolate lab, Louise. Coe also has a 13 year old daughter, Caton, who attends Pinewood Prep Academy.
