As Staffing Manager at Cru Catering, Caroline Ewald plays a vital role in Cru Catering’s success by coordinating all elements of staffing both at events and behind the scenes. The Charlottesville native is a 2011 graduate of the College of Charleston, majoring in both Business Administration and Hospitality and Tourism Management. Throughout her college tenure, Ewald held several hospitality positions, working in restaurants and in various event planning roles – each of which primed her for her current position.
Following graduation, Ewald used her educational background and interpersonal skills to manage luxury safari camps in South Africa and Botswana. Returning stateside in 2015, Ewald began working as a personal concierge for a luxury travel club, requiring extreme organizational skills and attention to detail. She joined the Cru Catering team in early 2022 where she manages staffing for Charleston’s most coveted catering operation.
