As Event Manager and Office Administration, Ashley Pena brings a keen eye for details, a knack for organization, and a love of hospitality and events to her role at Cru Catering. First drawn to hospitality because of her love for people, she loves seeing events come to life, creating lasting memories for her clients.
Born and raised on Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Ashley was drawn to the hospitality industry from early on, enjoying working directly with people. Proud of her Lowcountry roots, she remained in the area, a place she believes is the idyllic backdrop for life’s special moments.
A fan of classic cocktails and dishes, Ashley gravitates to a good whiskey on the rocks, but also adds “you could add truffle to just about anything and it would then quickly become my favorite.”
Her favorite Cru cocktail is the Salt Life and her favorite dish is Cru’s Seared Scallops with lemon parmesan risotto.
