When
I got engaged I was working 60-hour weeks at a television station
and had little time to plan my wedding. I had always heard wonderful
comments about Cru Catering and had tried their food at several different
events. After comparing the quality and taste of their food and price
to the other Charleston caterers, Cru Catering was above and beyond
better in all categories.
Our catering director, Jenny, was a godsend. She made everything a
breeze and helped me plan out stations strategically inside the Citadel
Beach House to spread out the guests. She even made sure I ate and
had a basket of food waiting for me at the end of the night, thank
goodness!
The guests still rave about how good the food at our wedding was,
which is a true testament to Cru's passion for food. We thank them
for making our special day so memorable for our guests and for us. |

We are at the airport
headed to Morocco (woohoo!), but I couldn't leave without expressing
to all of you my sincere gratitude for your hard work, flexibility,
professionalism and generosity on Saturday. You all went above and
beyond what you were asked to do and made our wedding a day that we
will always cherish and never forget. I'll be sending each of you
much more extensive thank you notes when we return, but I don't think
a note or letter of recommendation could even touch what I owe you
in return. Thank you, thank you, thank you and go put your feet up:)

| Charlie and I just wanted to let you know just how great
a job you did for our wedding on Saturday. I have never heard such
raves about the food in my entire life. You really outdid yourself
in every way. I am sure the rain made it much more difficult but no
one would have ever known it. Holly and Trent wanted to communicate
with you first their delight with the great job you did so I waited
until today to let you know how happy we were. Although I only had
time to eat some chicken, it was divine and everyone there was over
the top about the food. I was surprised to see you and know you don't
routinely attend the events. We especially appreciate your presence
and know the difficulty the rain presented. However, no one would
have ever know there was a drop of water coming down. |

Janet and I wanted to write you a quick note to thank you for everything you and Cru have done to make our wedding PERFECT! We enjoyed every last minute of our big day and I know that our guests did as well. Your time and effort in making our occasion special is something that we won't forget. The great memories of May 14 are with us forever and we have you and many others to thank. I ordered the special beers then the gravitational pull of the old mill dog midwest hick graviton beam can lining ( bet you didn't know that had that) made my efforts useless and I now have wedding pics of me toasting an old mill dog while Jan kept her senses and was holding a Tiffany's champagne flute ! Good thing Jan is very cool and not much rattles her cage. Seriously, you were great to work with and we hope to find a reason to use Cru again. If anything, we will definitely be in the restaurant downtown enjoying your food! |

I wanted to send a personal note of thanks to you for a wonderful job done by Cru for the Gregory/Schmitt wedding. The compliments continue to flow in on the superiority of the food (shrimp & grits and the tacos being amongst some of their favorites). Many continue to speak of the tenderloin placed on the display table stating it was so incredibly tender. The bartenders did a fantastic job and I am most certain that our crowd kept them busy. Your entire staff was visible and served our guest well
Emily was fantastic was start to finish. From the moment we met for the tasting through numerous emails (yeah I was a little panicky as time was approaching); she remained so calm and was extremely responsive and sensitive. Many kudos to her, you have a real gem in Emily and we wanted to make sure that you were aware of our satisfaction with her management of this for our daughter’s wedding.
